TYR, Inc. ("TYR," "we," "us," or "our") is a California construction inspection firm that recruits and staffs building inspectors for public projects statewide. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we share it, and the choices you have.

We collect only the information we need to recruit, hire, and communicate with inspector candidates.


  • Contact information: name, mobile phone number, and email address.
  • Application and credential information: certifications held (such as DSA, HCAI, or OSFM related), years of experience, work history, regions you can work, and any resume or references you provide.
  • Consent records: the method, date, time, and source of your opt-in to our text messaging program.
  • Website information: standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages viewed, collected through cookies or similar tools.


We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, or financial account numbers through our website or forms.


Text messaging program

TYR operates a recruiting text messaging program for inspector candidates. Participation is always optional and is never a condition of applying for a position or being hired.


How you opt in. You join only by giving express consent through one of these methods: texting the keyword INSPECT to 562-343-6437, checking the consent box on our online or paper sign-up form, or giving verbal consent to a TYR recruiter who then records it. We do not add numbers from purchased or third-party lists.


Message content and frequency. Messages relate to open inspector positions, upcoming projects, interview scheduling, and application follow-ups. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.


Help and opt-out. Reply HELP for help or STOP to cancel at any time. You can also opt out by emailing dsobhi@tyrior.com or calling 657-329-0014. After you opt out, we send one confirmation message and no further texts.

No sharing. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.


How we use your information
